Effective January 1, 2010 the rates in the state of Florida for Workers Comp will be decreasing by an average of 6.8%. This is the seventh annual consecutive drop in workers’ compensation rates since 2003, the year the Florida Legislature passed sweeping reforms of the workers’ compensation system.
